are you ready?

Jesus admonishes his followers to be baptized. After you have given your life to Jesus and decided to follow him, the next step is to be baptized and join a community of believers to grow in your faith.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, 20.

Meaning of baptism - Dead to Sin and Alive in Christ

Water baptism symbolizes a person’s dying from his past course of life and beginning a new one as a Christian dedicated to God. Baptism and the steps that lead up to it are God’s arrangements for a person to gain a clean conscience based on his faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 3:21)

WHO CAN GET BAPTIZE?

Every person who has believed and accepted Jesus Christ. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Acts 2:41 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done. Acts 8:12 -13

HOW DOES CALVARY BAPTIZE?

Because Jesus was baptized that way...

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water...Matt 3:16. Baptism in the Greek word mean" "to be immersed, dipped, or completely covered," we baptize by immersion. The Bible compares baptism to burial. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).
